Position Overview
The VP Product Management Global View is responsible for overseeing product management activities for ADP’sGlobal View product categories as delivered with the SAP HCM solution, including but not limited to the following solutions: Global HR, Talent Management, Time, Payroll, Data Management, Web Services, Client Reporting and analytics, and mobility. The role is also responsible for the product management of the partners that work in conjunction with GlobalView and the SAP HCM offering including but not limited to: Cornerstone, Nakisa, LogiXML, ADP Workscape and the ADP ancillary products including: tax, garnishment, print and unemployment services, screening and selection, and ADP Virtual Edge. Works with BU Presidents, CIO, Developers and Product Managers across Employer Services to ensure vision/strategy is aligned and is being applied consistently in all markets. Partners with the PR/Media group to establish ADP as a thought leader.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Lead vision/strategy for product category. Work closely with Business Unit Product Managers to identify targeted segments, lead development and execution of business plans that support growth objectives, and ensure consistency and alignment across all of Employer Services.
- Work with BU Presidents and Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market and pricing policies across all business units support single strategic vision.
- Identify distinct customer segments, prioritize areas of focus and determine the segment needs and characteristics.
Identify market gaps across entire product category. Work with BU Presidents and division Marketing teams to ensure alignment across ES. - Identify overlaps in current offerings of entire product category. Develop high level product rationalization and prioritization strategy, and review product budgets to identify expense duplicity.
- Work with all stakeholders to gather requirements and design cross-BU shared products. Ensure product definitions and road map aligns to vision, strategy and segmentation.
- Manage development of cross-BU shared products; ensure cohesive cross-BU planning.
- Ensure consistency and provide guidance on pricing policies and guidelines.
- Monitor overall category performance and ensure appropriate resolution of issues. Incorporate best practices across BUs.
- Engage critical 3rd party analysts, consultants and influencers to educate on ADP services and increase exposure in Global, HR, BPO and ERP markets.
- Acts as key stakeholder in partnering with SAP to drive product initiatives through SAP offering.
Qualification
- Education: MBA (or the equivalent in education and experience).
- Experience:
- 10+ years extensive experience in a service oriented marketing management position on an international or global level.
- Services sales, consulting and/or marketing experience is required.
- Strong product knowledge will be a huge asset; authored articles, speaking and/or moderating experience at industry trade conferences desirable.
- Must be able to interface with and influence key internal stakeholders, as well as interact effectively with C-level client contacts and industry analysts.
- Generic Skills:
- Must be able to lead project teams and influence leaders without having a formal reporting relationship.
- Strong communication skills are critical to this role, as the incumbent will be working across business lines and geographies and will also represent ADP externally to our clients and prospects as it pertains to the product.
